VG Blog: How's this for catch-up?

I worked with Jesse a few months ago bringing her up to speed on HTML. As promised, I'm publishing her practice HTML here on the blog. Cheers!

edit: I'm testing tags out now

Dieter's trying to teach me html - here's my first attempt.

I'll be suprised if things do what I want them to do, because usually I don't get along with computers so well. But I'm making a conscious effort to fight my luddite impulse.

Let's try some real text:

Glancy has written numerous works across a wide range of genres, including the recent poem The Shadows Horse (2003); The Mask Maker: A Novel (2002); American Gypsy: Six Native American Plays (2002); and The Voice that was in Travel (1999), a collection of vignettes and novellas. Glancy often writes from a stance in between two cultures, not fully a part of either. As she says with her own opinion: “I write with a split voice, often experimenting with language until the parts equal some sort of whole.” I find this quote fascinating because it is quite evident that she is experimenting with the English language\grammar when the novel Stone Heart was written. This novel, grammatically speaking, is written in an unorthodox style for the times in which it was published.

Now, a list of lists:

  • grocery list
  • guest list
  • shit list
One last thing to try. Abracadabra, here's a link to google!
Thanks for the lesson, Dieter.
