Kieng Bao Vang is a philosopher at heart and secretly wishes for peaceful employment like sowing seeds or driving tractors. Unfortunately, she fell in love with the world of ameobas and parameciums - things that are invisible to the eye but can be best seen through a microscope. Since then she has been a biology major and after a brief struggle between chosing peace (her slacker state) versus stability, she will be the first in her family to commence in May 2002. With classmates Jocelyn Singleton and Sarah Nyseth, she contributed the page on Nora DeLoach for Gwen Pough's mystery writers class at the University of Minnesota in Spring 2002.
