Kowalska, Teresa

Teresa Kowalska contributed the page on Han Suyin. She is a trained chemist by profession and is full professor in physical chemistry at the Silesian University, Katowice, Poland. She teaches undergraduates, and the MSc and PhD students physical chemistry (basically thermodynamics) applied to separation sciences. Her great hobby is literature (belles lettres). She reads a lot and occasionally translates poetry and prose from English and German into Polish. Han Suyin is her greatest literary love: "I consider her as one of the most splendid writers in this ending century, perhaps the most interesting and greatest one, and for me personally she's no. 1."
