Harrell Jr., Willie



Willie J. Harrell, Jr. is Assistant Professor of English at Kent State University, Kent, Ohio, where he teaches courses in African-American Literature and Cultural Studies and other ethnic literatures. His research interests include Nineteenth-Century American Literature/Cultural Studies with an emphasis on African-American Literature/Cultural Studies, African-American Jeremiadic Rhetoric, Slave Narratives, Charles Chesnutt, Martin Delany, Oral History, and Historicizing Text. His most recent essay is forthcoming in the Canadian Review of American Studies.
