Dalal, Piyali Nath



Piyali Nath Dalal is the daughter of Meenakshi and Pabitra Dalal, and she grew up in Wayne, Nebraska. Piyali graduated from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities with a degree in English and International Relations in May, 2001. While in college, she worked in the English Department as a writing tutor, peer advisor, and administrative assistant. She also was actively involved with the Multicultural Children's Circle at the Jane Addams School for Democracy. Piyali finds Voices from the Gaps project to be a critical contribution to literary study. Currently, she is working at the Minnesota Campus Compact. She contributed the pages on Louise Erdrich, Toni Morrison, and Ida B. Wells; and augmented the Edith Eaton page.
