Submitting Media to the CLA iTunes U or YouTube Channels
What type of media can I submit to CLA's iTunes U and YouTube channels?
iTunes U can host one of three types of files: audio (.mp3, .m4a), audio with synchronized images, also called “enhanced audio” (.m4a, .m4b) , or video (.mov, .m4v). Once you’ve uploaded materials to MediaMill and submitted the materials to CLA's iTunes U or YouTube channels, MediaMill will process the media and turn it into the correct file format.
Publishing Guidelines
Publishing on the CLA YouTube channel and iTunes U is at the sole discretion of CLA staff, who retain the right to enforce and to change these terms and conditions without notice.
We encourage free speech and defend everyone's right to express unpopular points of view; however, content containing the following material (or links to that material) will not be published:
- likely copyright violations; only upload or link to content that you made, or for which you have posted permission from the copyright holder
- misleading descriptions, tags, titles or thumbnails
- hate speech (speech which attacks or demeans a group based on race or ethnic origin, religion, disability, gender, age, veteran status and sexual orientation/gender identity)
- material which could be deemed predatory: stalking, threats, harassment, intimidation, privacy invasion and revealing others’ personal information
- propaganda, pornography, graphic or gratuitous violence or abuse and illegal behavior content intended for commercial gain
- material that violates Terms of Use posted by the U of M, CLA, YouTube or iTunes
- material that violates any local, state, national or international laws
