Graduate Fellowships
Our donors invest in graduate students like these who are discovering new worlds within and beyond the classroom.
Some of the world's first graduate students were the youth who flocked to Socrates more than 2000 years ago. They came to learn how to question the world in new ways. The answers produced new knowledge, and the students went on to become thinkers, leaders and teachers.
Today's graduate students are the descendants of these scholars and centuries of others who followed them. They provide the continuity from one generation of learners to the next. They are tomorrow's professors, researchers, artists, thinkers, business and civic leaders.
Across CLA's many disciplines graduate students continue to learn, conduct experiments and field research, assist faculty in teaching, and introduce new perspectives.
Fellowship gifts strengthen our ability to attract top students, and build a stronger academic community.
